350.org at Fowlers Gap

I was extremely fortunate in late 2010 to be part of an exciting global satellite earth work event put together by 350.org.

These projects happened around the world simultaneously and were photographed via satellite. The Australian project took place in Fowlers Gap at the University of New South Wales Arid Research Centre approximately 110km north of the of Broken Hill in outback New South Wales.

There was a stack of artistic volunteers that came along to help on the project by walking around in the desert measuring and clearing land, this was headed by artist Keith Chidzey.
